During the main holiday season, the Patterdale to Penrith to Patterdale bus runs almost every hour. It stops at the Railway Station which is very handy for anybody planning to arrive by train.

Cumbria County Council have produced a book 'Getting Around Cumbria and the Lake District' which has all the local timetables for rail services (including steam!), boat and bus.
A visit to www.traveline.org.uk will give you access to the Cumbria Journey Planner on the Internet.

There are Church of England Churches in Greystoke, Penruddock, Matterdale, Patterdale, Mungrisdale and Penruddock, which rotate services and are ministered by a Team Ministry headed by the team rector, Revd.
