Buses During the main holiday season, the Patterdale to Penrith to Patterdale bus runs almost every hour. It stops at the Railway Station which is very handy for anybody planning to arrive by train. Cumbria County

District' which has all the local timetables for rail services
(including steam!), boat and bus. Cumbria Classic Coaches offer Vintage Bus Excursions on a timetabled basis from Penrith to Pooley Bridge.
