There are a superb selection of camp sites and caravan parks available in the area, many of them by the lakes edge. They offer excellent facilities and cater for walkers, water enthusiasts and those looking to enjoy the serenity of the Ullswater area. Featured Ullswater Campsite

Side Farm campsite in Patterdale is in a beautiful location at the southern edge of Ullswater. The site offers direct access to the lake shore and simply breathtaking views across the lake towards Helvellyn and her sister fells. Located on a working farm it has a good facilities including a tea room at Side Farm.

The campsite caters for tents and small and medium sized camper vans. Side Farm welcomes families, children and dogs, but unfortunately not single sex or large groups. Please note no fires are permitted but barbecues are allowed if raised off ground.
