Patterdale Pubs
Patterdale one main pub, the White Lion Inn, which offers friendly service and good food throughout the day - dogs are also welcome. The Patterdale Hotel, also has a good bar and a wonderful outside seating area in which to relax and enjoy the views and the sunshine.
Patterdale Cafes/Restaurants
Both the Patterdale Hotel and the White Lion Pub offer extensive menus and serve meals throughout the day. Nearby Glenridding also has a good range of places to eat. Old Water View also offers food all day.

Patterdale Shops
Patterdale is home to the Patterdale Village Store and Post Office which offers a great range of food, drinks and essentials, as well as a great range of local gifts. They also specialise in selling Coast to Coast Walk and Patterdale Terrier Souvenirs. The shop is open 7 days a week and provides packed lunches and fresh hot and cold sandwiches and delicious Lakeland Ice Creams.
Patterdale Attractions
Patterdale is home to Crookabeck Farm, which produces local wool and mohair rugs, knitwear, hats, scarves, socks etc.
Patterdale is also home to Beyond Imagination Photography. Professional photographer specialising in affordable wedding photos, and also website and business photography. Wide range of other services available.
As well as Ullswater itself, just up the road from Patterdale is Brotherswater, another lovely small lake with a great flat walk on the western shore.
