Buses

The Penrith to Patterdale bus runs every two hours Monday to Saturday during the year, plus Sundays Easter until the end of the Summer School Holidays.
It stops at the Penrith Railway Station which is very handy for anybody planning to arrive by train.

Cumbria County Council and Stagecoach have produced the "Cumbria and Lakesrider" guide  which has all the local timetables for boat and bus.
